Gene Hallman is refusing to let McGee and Haase participate in the pro-am
They must be better golfers than Saban and Grant.
@RegionsTrad I think is twitter , give them a tweet and say you want to see our coaches! It's a great event but the hometown coaches need to be there!

Why not? Did they miss some type of registration deadline or something?
Not invited. When they checked in to it they were told no room for them. Tweet it Facebook it. Tweet all the radio folks asking why.
I doubt the radio folks know why.
I doubt the radio folks care why.
The point is to show someone does care. Saying nothing proves their point no one cares.
I agree.

One of the al.com writers should bring it up in an article.

I suspect they were too busy inviting the other SEC coaches to care about the local coaches.

Some of the same SEC coaches that will be let go in another year or two.

I haven't seen a list, but I would hope they wouldn't invite a coach who rides motorcycles & has dated volleyball chicks.
They did not invite me either and I would have enjoyed it as more or more than any of these celebrities! Plus I know I would play much better than most of them.

Check.

And Mate.
Bastids. No respect at all.
I assume that our coaches have traditionally been involved?

Yes, but Callaway could've been invited due to his former Alabama assistant status, not his UAB status.
This is so stupid. How can you have a major event and not invite the coaches of the major sports program in that city? So is this just SEC coaches only now?03-banghead
Per Hallman email, you have to have a sponsor to participate. UAB knows this and is working on securing sponsors for next year's event.

So, again, per Hallman, it's UAB's fault.

Figures
Figures that it's UAB's fault, or that Hallman would blame UAB?

Either seems equally likely.

Did they charge the rules without telling us or did we drop the ball?
"Us"? I'm not participating, either way. I'm just telling you what the man said.
