Saw him in the UT Student Union circa 1975.

I remember seeing him in the Glass Bowl about that time.
Only guy to everplay the GB as far as I know. Led off Woodstock with a three hour set because no one else could get through the traffic. Check out the video of Freedom. He is absolutely drenched but still rockin'. Special place in hippy heaven for Mr. Havens.
Saw Richie at the Santa Fe Brewing Company in July, 2006 - in the neighborhood of a thousand folks on the outside patio. A real loss. RIP in Richie

I didn't attend but I seem to recall the Beach Boys played the Glass Bowl as well (but I don't completely trust my memory anymore).
