Hey, 4 college students each driving 4 hours and coughing up $37 for fuel each way doesn't seem so bad. I personally like to have the car packed/gassed up ahead of time- start driving at 3 or 4 AM. Have some food, drinks in the cooler, a thermos of fresh coffee and I'm ready to roll.
Any alumni or student busses/flights?

Trust me, I've had my fair share of 15+ hour car rides for trips in college. They're ok when you are going on a week long trip, but not when you are going on a weekend trip. 05-nono And I agree with leaving for long road trips early in the morning - beat a lot of traffic, and still get to your final destination at a reasonable time. 04-rock
