Crane said he was getting frustrated and something about him not giving the ball to the ref after a foul was called. Not sure on the specifics.
a technical like that would not involve a personal foul...

He tossed the ball into the air out of frustration at being called for travelling, instead of the official calling a foul the defender for mugging him . Rucker had just been called for a hand check two possessions earlier.
now THAT would involve a personal foul...

He got called for traveling and in frustration threw the ball away instead of giving it to the ref.
