Middle Tennessee went 28-5, 19-1, but lost to lowly Florida International in the Sun Belt Tournament. Is Middle Tennessee in, or did they royally screw up?
They deserve it more so than name your 0.500 conference record team from a BC$ conference

I say they are in as an 8-14 seed, however you know.... the selection committee loves, anything connected to a so called major conferences, so a underserving major team may get in ahead of a team like Middle Tenn.
They have a shot but it's certainly not guaranteed. I'd say chances above 50% that they get in an opening round game in Dayton. Hopefully 28 wins and Top 30 RPI is hard to ignore.
Had they lost to Moo U or Auburn nobody would have thought anything of it.
Well, Creighton is in for sure after winning the MVC tournament. Northeastern lost in the CAA Finals, so they almost made it in.
Memphis
North Carolina is in.

Illinois State ended up having a losing record (8-10) in the MVC.

Dayton had a losing record (7-9) in the A-10.

Southern Miss really hurt their at-large chances by losing at Marshall.
Creighton, Memphis, and UNC for sure.

MTSU has a shot.

I think Southern Miss is toast.

They have very similar resumes, but Southern Miss has that won real eye sore, and 3 of their top 100 wins are against RPI 95, 95, and 99. I hope both get in, but it's looking more and more like both are going to miss out.
