I find it appropriate to post this video, today, in remembrance of Coach Bartow.

Once again, UAB travels to Memphis, with the odds stacked against them, to try to beat Memphis on their home court.

I was there, at the Pyramid, in Memphis, the year UAB upset Memphis, 50-47, against all odds.

I hope our UAB Blazers all play well, today, and upset the Tigers.

The game starts in 55 minutes.

UAB has won twice in Memphis. 50-47 in 1993 against a Penny Hardaway led team (I was there too) and 91-83 in 1999 agains a very bad Tiger team ( Calipari came the next year)

Last win for UAB was at home in 2006.

Over the past 5 games, UAB has lost in Memphis by 34, 4, 10, 13 and 38 for an average of almost 20 points.

Let's go Blazers! Beat Memphis. But if I had a choice, I'd rather beat Memphis in conference tourney.

Went ahead and added the sports package on Comcast. I'd been able to watch a couple of the games since I moved up here on CSS which was a nice change as I didn't have CSS for the past year or so.
