Stuff like this is usually done behind the scenes. I wonder how the team and athletic admin feel about the head coach openly trying to get another job during this crucial part of the season.
Everybody knew that he was going to stay at UTEP only as long as he had to.
How could USC even consider him considering they went on probation when he was there before.
Because they are USC & don't care.

Floyd calls the Media to report this and he has a game tonight vs Memphis. Strange.
Tim Floyd knows he is "on the clock" to get back to a "Power conference" job before they forget who he used to be. Just like we said about Petrino at WKU, there is a 2 or 3 year "window" for getting back to the BCS level schools. If a coach doesn't get back to the BCS level within those years, he may, like O'Leary @ UCF, Mike Davis now @ TX Southern and Mike Price @ UTEP be "doomed" to retire there. These coaches are no longer getting the highly rated players they used to get at the "big time" schools so their records are not so illustrious as before their "fall from grace". The trick is to convince an AD (whose job after all is also riding on their choices) TODAY that they can still recruit like they used to do.

Actually, Floyd signed two of the best high school basketball players for next year to play UTEP.

At least one may have grade issues...
Oh so Floyd signs 2 of the best ball players in America, and now he is shopping himself, ugh....

No?!? Well, I'll be...
Suitcase Floyd and Brown.
I can't believe it !
Suitcase C-USA
Maybe he should leave. He just said in a press conference that he was voting all Memphis players on his all conference ballot.
Sounds like he thinks somebody pi$$ed in his coffee.
So Floyd wasn't cheating at USC, but the school got busted, and is now getting 5 star recruits to come to El Paso.......Texas.----------The El Paso with sand in every direction for 300 miles. 01-wingedeagle
There's rock in a few of those directions.
Miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles.
Patently he wasn't implicated at USC because it was determined he had never met his prize recruit OJ Mayo. 03-lmfao
