Tulsa again? I hope not. Who would you say has the best chance of hosting?
El Paso. It's already been announced.
I say UAB should biid. Next year's team has a good shot at going far in the tournament. Central location; longtime (founding?) member. And with the new hotel and district downtown it could be nice. Of course local media will belittle it but screw 'em. I say go for it...
I'd say we'll have a decent shot at hosting the 2015 tournament.
It's time for UAB to do what we did in the 80's. Dominate a conference- any conference.
I went to El Paso 2 years ago for the tournament and it was a blast I must say. We should push hard for 2015. Would we play at the Tow?

If that means "Bartow" I would say no.
The last time the tourney was in B'ham, it was at the BJCC.
I don't believe Bartow is equipped to handle such an event
I would say with MTSU/Charlotte coming in, Birmingham/Nashville/Charlotte should be options, along with the Texas areas and Tulsa. Maybe they'll do an east/west type deal every other year? I know we have two teams down in Miami now too, but that is just way the hell out of everybody else's way. I'd love for Birmingham or Nashville to host it though, so I'd be able to make the games easily.
If Western Kentucky comes in, Nashville makes a lot of sense

I'm in favor of Nashville.
I like Birmingham or Nashville.

I would prefer Birmingham.

Nashville we would have to use Bridgestone due to the size we need (another venue is about 9K but would be too small IMO, otherwise bring the tourny to Bartow each and every year! 04-rock). The downside is we would have to work with the Preds and maybe the $EC...
If it was in BIRmingham, Bartow would host the womens tournament. It is too small for the men's tournament. Not because of seats but because of media facilities and other behind the scenes needs.
