With UCF ineligible the tournament will have 11 teams and the format will change with 5 teams getting byes.
First day will be 8-9, 7-10 and 6-11.
2nd day will be 1 vs (8-9), 2 vs. (6-11), 3 vs (7-10) and 4-5

As it stands now (tiebreakers are incomplete since not all teams have played)

8. Marshall vs. 9 Houston
7. UAB vs. 10. SMU
6. Tulane vs. 11. Rice

Second day.
1. Memphis vs. Marshall - Houston winner
2. USM vs. UAB vs. SMU winner
3. UTEP vs. Tulane - Rice winner
4. ECU vs. 5. Tulsa

A win vs. Tulane Wednesday will put UAB in a tie for fifth with Tulane and Tulsa. UAB would have the tiebreaker over those two teams and be in the spot for a first day bye. A loss would drop us back into the pack with Marshall and Houston. Key game Wednesday.

Tulane changed up over the past 5-7 games. They went away from their experiment of Tarrant as a full-time PG and went back to something closer to what they did last year - Tarrant at the off guard. Add that to Davis being an absolute beast inside and the last 5 games is the result.
