I'd normally say its a "pimping my school" thread....but for what? I don't think TXST has been mentioned as a candidate for anything except maybe a CUSA replacement in the next move up shuffle but they are heavy with Texas teams already.

Has coach Fran started up another top secret newsletter money-making scheme?

Agreed. CUSA is not coming after us until one of the Texas schools bolts.

Let me give an unsolicited plug...TX St has some of the hottest coeds around.

Just harmless information about my school guys, don't have a meltdown.

You'll get in beause of UTSA after Rice/UTEP move to Mountain West/Big 12.

This is absolutely true. Texas State and UCF just might be the top 2 for coeds I've seen in person.

One of the best things about going to Texas is that the Texas State girls love to tell their friends they have a boyfriend in Austin going to UT. Lots of guys have their Austin girlfriend and another in San Marcos.

Texas State has potential, worth keeping an eye on them.

Agreed...Plus both UTSA and TX State could start up two pre XMas bowl games. Additionally, TX State could host one after XMas instead of pre-XMas. Both would do well as San Antonio-Austin area has plenty to do around the Holidays. The weather is generally decent too.
