Gardendale running back Jordan Howard confirmed he committed to UAB

Had a good weekend and I committed to UAB, now it's time to get some sleep
I saw him play against Mountain Brook, and his stats say he had a little bit over 100 yds on just only 18 carries and had 2 rush TDs! I'd nice real nice pickup knowing how well my alma mater is big on D

He and his teammate from Gardendale are both pretty talented from what I understand. And again, I like McGee and company going after all these local guys. Helps build interest in the program locally. It's not going to fill up Legion Field overnight, but if we had done more of this over the last 10-15 years, I think we would have developed more of a local following.

Watching our defensive line last year was pretty funny, if you weren't a UAB fan.
