I think redshirting Whitaker is a good move for Whitaker. I hate that his injury has messed him up like this.
On another note- it is down right shameful that we have one good crowd a year. It's pathetic that the students only show up for one game per season. I almost wish that they wouldn't even show up for that one game.

Nope, not in regards to practicing or playing.
He still will be assisted in getting his school completed.
So is there a chance he plays again next year or is there going to be another spot open for recruiting purposes? Just asking since the first post said Haase was finished recruiting for 2013.
His scholarship will be open, he is a senior.
Jekore, Scottie and Terrence will be gone after this year. We had two scholarships that we didn't fill this year for a total of 5. We signed 5 in the early signing period, so I think there are no more scholarships available for 2013.

No, it's shameful and disgusting that our fans wet their pants and run away if they think the team might lose. What the ****? You think you're going to get cooties from seeing the clock hit 0:00? Or is that, as one "fan" told me, "I only go for a winner!" As I told him then, "go fellate the crystal football down at Wal-Mart."
It was an act of mass cowardice unworthy of the house of Bartow. At least the lower-level student sections remained full (with the very noticeable exception of the "A" - that whole front row now needs to just slink off into the night in shame) while the Frozen Hundred seats emptied.
If you walked out early, please at least practice safe sex. Your craven, gutless genes need to be removed from the human race's pool.

If Saturday night was their first game this year, and they left before the end of the game, then they were not fans. They were visitors. It would be nice to make them fans, but don't call them fans.

Thanks, I forgot that Jekore was a senior since he just got here last year. I'm glad the staff if going to get a jump on 2014 recruiting.
