He played a great game. Finished 6/8 from the floor and played well defensively.

Is it just me or did he not play as much as he should have (especially in the second half)?
You are FN correct. Foz had a great game & should have played more in both halves.

He did have a little foul trouble towards the end, so I guess Haase decided to keep him out because the result wasn't in doubt.
Well it couldn't have been because of tempo because we had no urgency on offense and let them run :30 each possession before bailing them out with a cheap foul 01-lauramac2
There actually were some periods where we played well on defense.

In the first half between the 15 minute mark & the 5 minute mark we shut them down.

They ended up scoring a lot of point in the final 5 minutes of the half & basically put the game out of reach for our offense.
I think Foz was dealing with a back ailment early in the season, but I've thought for a few games now that he should get more minutes.
If he had a 4 guy with some size on the team he could actually dominate.

He gets around the ball quite a bit on the boards.

I agree.
I was when we moved to the zone defense when we slowed Memphis down. They didn't figure out how to break that until a few minutes left in the 1st half. They were stuck @ 19 for a while. That's when we had our chance to step up our game and get a lead. We had our chances, we just couldn't get an open shot. Foz and Rucker were doing great making tough shots throughout the game, but Memphis was slapping back everything we threw up, it seemed.
You can't BS around when trying to shoot the ball up close either by a shot or some type of layup.

You have to go strong to the rim & even protect the layup with your off hand when you can.
