@UAB_WBB: Blazers take a 26-13 lead into the half. UCF hit just 3-for-31 from the floor and went 7-for-12 from the free-throw line.
UCF is 0-8 from behind the arc.

Alright! The ladies are handling their business on the road!!!
UAB now leads 43-27 with 11:53 remaining. Blazers have scored 17 points off turnovers while UCF has hit just 9 shots.
UCF ladies do finally hit a 3. 1 for 13 for the game.

& may they miss many more as "Knightfall" descends upon them!!! Go Blazers!!!
A. Grimes now has a new career high of 19 points. Blazers take their largest lead, 54-33, with 6:24 to go.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! Now that is more like it...That loss to Chattanooga was emotionally devastating to them and they needed to get off on the good foot in conference play. Looks as if they've done just that.
I don't think UCF is in the top part of the conference this year but it is always good to start conference play with a win.
Blazers now lead 58-36 with 3:37 remaining. A. Jones now has 12 points in the game.

That may very well be...It's been my experience in past live observations of them that Central Florida has given UAB fits. It's good to be able to singe their armor on the road without having to work so damn hard for a change.

Everyone up to this point that UAB has played brought the fight, even if their records were less than stellar, they sure didn't play like it when they took the court against the Blazers.

UCF's record will fall to 6-9, but their SOS was 57th coming into the game (ours was 317th). Their RPI was 132, vs. UAB's 188. May not be a great team, but I expect them to finish in the top half of the conference.
I just checked record and standings. I know they went to the NCAA in 2011, so the program has history. Game is on the road too, so the women are doing something the men have only done once.
@UAB_WBB: FINAL: UAB defeats UCF, 64-46, to claim a win in the C-USA opener. Blazers now 10-4 overall on the year.

"Knightfall!!!"
Almost the exact score of the men's game, role reversed.
