If anyone has 2 Memphis tickets they are looking to get rid of please send me a PM with a price. I'd prefer lower level, but would be interested in two upper level tickets as well.
Tickets are still available at uabsports.com as well.

You are correct. Unfortunately, when purchasing two tickets, the only seats remaining are upper level tickets in higher rows. I'm bringing someone to their first ever UAB sporting event, and would like to ensure the best seats possible. I know it's late notice, which leaves the possibility of securing better seats slim, but I figured it was worth a shot.
Brad said yesterday that there were about 1500 tickets left.

If it doesn't sell out then we should let in more students to fill the place up. I think student tickets are capped at 1100 for Memphis.

Good to know then that the lower level seats that are left should just be scattered ones.
If you don't get any takers I would go to Bartow anyway. The UM game is one of the few where there are several people outside selling tickets. Not all of them are scalpers. You might be able to scoop up a couple together.

Also, there will be Green and Gold members walking back and forth to the Great Hall to eat.
So you can just whack them over the head & take their tickets?

This, there has never been a shortage of tickets outside of Bartow for the Memphis game. Even if it is a scalper, you aren't going to pay that much more than face value.

That or just come up behind them and yell "Go Blazers" as they pass out you take their tickets. 03-lmfao
I don't see why they sit however many tickets aside for students. I mean they don't go to any other games or sporting events. Why reward them? Half of them wear the colors of a differents school.

Its been a tradition (in recent years at least) that the students camp out the night before just so they can be in line to get a ticket for that game. My grandson will be one of those that "Pay the price" to get in for the game. He asked me if I could get him a ticket and I said "nope",, you have to earn this one. He wears his green and gold with pride, btw.
Students pay tuition and fees. Tickets should be set aside for them.
I got my ticket today at Bartow Row E section 107 (behind Memphis' bench)

the student section is as full as the rest of the sections right now
We got 4 tickets today. I've been to every home football game and basketball game. I've havent seen more than 50 students at football games and no more than 25 students at basketball games. I don't know what point I'm trying to make but I kinda find it hypocritical when they show up to one game and its suddenly "playing their part".

Your right, got me on that one.
This one will definitely fill the student section up and they will be in rare form. I'll be seated right behind them in the Friends and Family Zone. UTD!
Yes in rare form. Literally, rare.

Not if they aren't going to use them.

Thats a ridiculous statement ( 25 students ). They HAVE shown up for several games and virtually filled up 2 sections, one to the left of the band and one to the right of the band. They did not. however, show up during the holiday period.
