I couldn't even bring myself to listen to post game coverage. Can anyone share what CJH said about the game?
He was as perplexed about the shooting as we all were. Said that for the most part appeared like good shots that didn't fall. Liked the defensive effort in the second half and intensity. Said about the 3 point shooting that we have no place to go but up.

Thanks.

I watch a ton of basketball. I can't recall watching a game quite like this. Other than shooting %, we dominated most of the statistical categories. Unreal. Like coach said, we can only go up from here.
Simply up from zero is not exactly the bar we're looking for.

I get it, but if you watched the game, we really outplayed them in most aspects. Clanton didn't drop 25 on us, and I'm sure that was a focus. He got his rebounds and blocks, but I think we can live we that. We took a ton of good shots, they just weren't falling. We've all seen teams have bad shooting nights, this one was just particularly bad. We outshot them, by a lot, outrebounded them, and killed them on the offensive boards. We didn't foul a bunch, and limited our turnovers.

If I told you without knowledge of the game that UAB got 21 offensive rebounds, and outrebounded them by 1 overall, shot 3 less FT's, had 2 more fouls, and shot 25 more shots, you would have asked how much UAB won by. It was a weird night, with a weird outcome. There was a lot to build off of in my opinion though.

I watched it and I do agree we outplayed them.

Now, let's all agree that we need to make it rain Saturday!
Well if we are going to fall flat then I would rather it be this game than the game on saturday.

Ahem: Big +1
A coach once said "The sun shines warmly on some dog's butt every day". This was UCF's day.
