And he's back!!
It will be a crying shame if both guys are not invited to the Senior Bowl. Especially Burdette.

You're right but Better get the tissues out.
Trying to remember who all we have had invited to the Senior Bowl.

I think it may be slim pickens.

McCants was one.
Joe Webb, Hackney, Roddy & 4 others, unless we had one in between Joe & Matt.

That's it.

2002 - Eddie Freeman, DL & Bryan Thomas, DL
2003 - Chris Brown, DB
2005 - Roddy White, WR
2006 - Darrell Hackney, QB
2010 - Joe Webb, *WR/QB
2012 - Matt McCants
Burdette reminds of of Sam Mills.

Not a big guy, but a friggin' tackling machine.
Marvin is hands down the best linebacker I've played with. If he is not in an nfl camp this summer due to size it will be a shame.

Reminds me of one Jesse Tuggle.

Short no named linebacker from Valdosta State.

In his 14 seasons, he recorded 1640 tackles (164 assisted), 21 sacks, 6 interceptions, which he returned for 106 yards and a touchdown, 10 forced fumbles and 37 pass deflections. He also recovered 10 fumbles, returning them for 155 yards and an NFL record 5 touchdowns.

One of the baddest LB's ever, pound for pound.

I think Marvin can be that.

...and a Blazer too!
Of the 2 players, I'd think that Marvin has the best shot at Sr Bowl but it wouldn't surprise me that the 4th string jock strap warmer from down the road gets in over him. Marvin got shafted by the league so why not someone else - how can you not be 1st team in your league when you lead the nation in tackles???

Someone refreash my memory. Do they let juniors who declare for the draft participate?
Nope.
