Three new faces are on campus for this spring. Briscoe will be thrown in the mix at QB, not sure if he will be playing baseball or not. Scott should help out on the defensive side of the ball. Reaves 2, younger brother of Darrin, not sure what position he'll play yet. Also was informed Hunter Mullins and Derek Slaughter received scholarships. Great news for two guys that work their butts off. Workouts begin tomorrow I know D-Train will have the boys back in shape in no time!!!!
Thanks. Both Slaughter & Mullins have definitely earned it.

Will the younger Reaves be eligible this coming season? I thought I read where he may get some type of waiver.

Any idea on what route we may go on the open coaching positions?

Isn't Scott a WR?

And former high school RB.
I'm almost positive reaves will be able to play this year but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Rivals has Scott listed as an ATH but I have heard talk of him lining up at safety. With Williams and Nelson leading the way for the wide outs, as well as a healthy Nolen Smith, I'm not sure how much playing time he would see at WR.

Was Reaves recruited by his previous school? Did he receive athletic aid?

If the answer to either of those is yes, he won't be able to play until Fall 2014
There was an article on it somewhere, however I don't feel like running it down.

He went to either Idaho or Idaho State & for some reason I believe he is able to play immediately.

I don't think it is sickness in the family, but I could be wrong.
Will DJ Vinson play next year?

That article? It's very doubtful he'll get the same waiver that Derek Slaughter got.

Yep. Unless it is family sickness they don't allow too many situations where they allow the player to play immediately.

(Unless dropping down a division)

Even the family sickness is about 50/50. There has to be a very good case (which there may be).

That's a good question. I havent heard anything about him in quite some time. Jay Davis filled in last year and did nicely at the slot receiver position.
Scott will be a WR. I was wrong.
Where do you think the remaining scholarship offers/commitments will go?

Not talking names, but just positions.

There's no list of all recruits/commits on the recruiting forum?

What gives?

Big Dee is fallin' down on the job.
I think we are around 22 or so commits, but I haven't counted lately.

Also with some people leaving & others on the program getting scholarships, not sure how many signees we can have.

I stand corrected. Sorry Dee!

Further proof that when something is pinned to the top, it gets completely ignored.

I'm Blind in one eye and can't see out the other.

No problem, and thanks WB.

Positions I see are RB,DT,LB,Saf, and best available player as of right now. With some walkons getting schollies its hard to see where we're at scholarship wise towards the 85.
