Excited to be in a conference with you. You guys have solid programs and I fully expect you to contend in football right away.
I'm no expert on your school but I do know you've had your share of athletes in the Pro's, to include Terry Bradshaw, Willie Roaf and "The Mailman," Karl Malone who played here in Huntington vs Marshall when I was a kid. I don't remember who won but Tech was here to play in the (then) Marshall Memorial Invitational Tournament.
You also have a conference tie-in through Tim Floyd, the current UTEP head b-ball coach.
Former Marshall B-ball coach and a Huntington favorite Rick Huckabay (RIP) played baseball at Tech.

I am looking forward to visiting your campus and getting to watch a game in your stadium. Make the trip to Huntington if you ever get the chance. You will have a great time.

I'm excited about being in a conference with Marshall. Seems to be a solid university similar to Tech. Hopefully I'll get to make a trip up to West Virginia and catch a football game in the near future.
