Well who is ready to watch us get our buts kicked on Saturday?
Game time! ..

There's no way we can stop Deshaun Thomas or Craft for that matter.
If we lose by less than 20 ill consider it a victory. But hey, national TV!
Despite the loss I think some good things came out of this.

1. The Norse played hard from the start til finish. It showed early on when they had the lead a few minutes in, and they didn't "roll over." Hopefully that trend continues. Would really help the young players
2. They held OSU to 37% shooting - and barely lost the rebounding battle 42-38, which is impressive considering the size advantage at every position for OSU.
3. The freshmen (White, Staley, Johnson, Rossi, Fluornoy) all got PT and contributed in some form.
4. Jalen Billups (Soph.) looked like he belonged on the court against those guys. 11 pts 9 reb 2 blks isn't bad when you're going up against those future NBA players.
5. Being on TV definitely helps recruiting and especially when it's in our normal Ohio recruiting grounds.
6. And this should help them adjust to the speed of the D1 ball game.

Overall I think there are more positives than negatives. Of course a win would have been fantastic but I think this was a step in the right direction. Can't wait for the first home game.

Go Norse!
