How many original members of C-USA are left? I think it's just UAB and USM.

Sickening.
The Big East schools get easy access to New Orlean's area recruits & a patsy to play when you get there. New Orleans is supposed to be a fun road trip & a victory. At least for everybody but us.
Da fuq?
See what a shiny new on campus stadium brings?
Would have been UAB, but the OCS got canned.

One of the reasons it was denied in the first place.
Boy do we need someone with an aggressive vision for UAB leading us right now. This is one of the worst times to be without a president. Scott Cowen was instrumental in securing this.
My vote would be for Western Kentucky as a replacement, however there may be other options out there.

I have to believe that is true.

Tulane gets in because of the French Quarter not their new stadium
And if this doesn't tell you what a joke the new Big East is, your not paying attention
what about my not paying attention?
Yeah, I think New Orleans as a city plays more into it than the stadium. A stadium won't make them competitive automatically either. The Big Least is terrible.
I know t's true.
Damn! I guess congratulations are in order. I can't blame them...They've been fighting to get out from under the shadow of mediocrity for years.

Glad to see that they aren't willing to just settle and go along with the "program." Bon Voyage, GreenWave!

Moving to the Big East will do absolutely nothing to change the mediocrity of their situation, either with their own competitiveness or the competitiveness of their conference
can't wait to see Georgetown/'Nova/Syracuse in Fogelman Arena.....thats some big-time hoops action right there
