I love how people still cling to the idea that we could have played this game in Ruston. The truth of it was that A&M was denying us that at every turn, and ESPN was calling every day asking to confirm this game. Not every money grab is a bad decision, and if ticket sales continue in this direction we stand to make the lion's share.

For a program who that has committed to increase it's budget by 25% in a state trying to cut back...the reality is that the money is paramount.

Would it have been good to have the game at the Joe? Yeah. But if we are going to continue to claim Shreveport/Bossier in our market then we don't need to pitch a fit when we play an occasional game there. I can't wait for game day and I will be there decked out in TECH BLUE cheering the Dawgs on to a victory!!!!! How 'bout them DAWGS!!!!!!

I love the enthusiasm. And yes, it would have been great at the Joe. However, A&M couldn't say, spell, or sign "NO" enough ways for some to understand it, hehehe.

Phil Steele was on the local sports radio this morning and said he has the Dawgs as 'dogs in this game....but only by 3 points. :dance:

Contrary to popular misinformation, TAMU gave back a few thousand seats, including well over 100 chair back seats. I’m looking at well over 100 chairbacks right now. Tech has outsold A&M 1.5 to 1……..

Better bring your blue poncho and rain boots to the game!!!! Looks like this will be like the USM game last year.
