That's right Soundwave.
Ravage, Rumlbe, Laserbeak. Attack, Attack, Attack!!!
To hell with the sunbelt or MAC.
Our eye is on the BE (with the end of AQ)

+1. The goal is to be better then the BE. i Think we can do that on the field when the AQ branding goes away. They become just another conference and not a top 5 one at that.

The Sunblet and MAC are for ESPN to have Tuesday and Wednesday night games Thus killing their own home attendance
I have no dog in the fight but think that the SunBelt/CUSA East remainders have a more sustainable and promising future than the Alliance does.

Just my opinion.
Then by all means, encourage your AD and prez to join the Sun Belt.
We aren't choosing between the Alliance and a SBC/CUSA-E merger so why would I do that?
but. you had a choice
Funny how st9...wants to give an opinion on the survival of the Alliance. That's okay because it is new but I'd also be worried about the new Big East survival. Lots of questions there also...

Since you don't have a dog in the fight as you suggested... Then we don't need your opinion......
It's interesting that the members of the non-power leagues like the Sunbelt and Big East don't like the idea.

Gives me confidence that we're onto something.
It remains to be seen who will have the lowest bottom.
I thought that Memphis football was clearly the bottom?

Not really, as there will always be a pool of 16-24 (however big the Alliance is) schools to cherry pick from.

How did this thread end up about the Big East, anyway?

Some F.U.C.'ers do.
Think I mispelled it.
The Alliance will be the clear #7 conf.

clearly 03-2thumbsup
pretty funny coming from a group that went 0-3 against the MAC last year, and these weren't your bottom feeders either, these were 3* of your top 5 teams that were outscored by the MAC 123-63.

S Miss (12-2)
Tulsa (8-5)
* Wyoming (8-5) lost to Temple 37-15
* Marshall (7-6) lost to OHIO 44-7
* Air Force (7-6) lost to Toledo 42-41

E Carolina (5-7)
UTEP (5-7)
Rice (4-8)
UAB (3-9)
Colorado State (3-9)
UNLV (2-10)
Tulane (2-11)
New Mexico (1-11)

the MAC trembles at the thought of competing against a mish-mashed, frankenstein conference full of picked over teams.

thanks for the laughs.
