Count me in
Texas A&M CC at Central Michigan tonight.
I actually would like to see every MAC team win today except cmu on "Bust the Mid-Major day".

I read the name and the brain tells me "Texas A&M Community College"
I wouldn't mind seeing the MAC go 11-1 today.

While on the topic of CMU, I was checking out their message board the other day and noticed the following:
1. Most chip posters want EZ and Trey gone
2. All chip posters wants Heeke fired
3. Some chip posters think they can and should go 9-5 this year.
4. They have "36 starters returning at all 22 positions" this fall. Which tells me they have 14 guys who started, that didn't belong on the first team and lost their job during the season.
5. They think they have a legit shot at beating MSU this year. It's in mt. Pleasant....but still....
6. And my all time favorite, one of the posters thinks they have a shot at getting invited to conference USA or the alliance.

I also read thru their threads regarding the beat down they took at Waldo last year. It brightened my day. I highly recommend checking them out if you are feeling grumpy and need an attitude boost.

They don't seem to grasp the make up of CUSA. It is primarily made up of schools in large cities, with a few exceptions, and is mostly located south of the Mason Dixon line.

Sure, relatively speaking Mt. Pleasant is a large city if you were born in Reed City. And yes, the 45th parallel is sort of like the Mason Dixon line if you're from the Northern Lower.
Quote:After snapping a nine-game losing streak Tuesday against Eastern Michigan, the hope was that it would propel the Central Michigan University men's basketball team forward as it hits the stretch run of the regular season.

Those plans hit a screeching halt Saturday night, despite it being an important night in McGuirk Arena as 1957 CMU grad and national broadcaster Dick Enberg was honored in a halftime ceremony.

Enberg's honoring turned out to be the highlight of the night by leaps and bounds as the action on the court was less than desirable, ending in a 49-47 loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a BracketBuster matchup.
