Figured I'd start it off with the "rivalry" marketing slogan. Can this game really be considered a rivalry with each team at opposite ends of the standings? This will be a much bigger game for KSU than it will Mercer. With a large crowd, and a good atmosphere (if anything like last season), my prediction is that the Owls will be able to keep it close. Wost case scenario: we get a big crowd out for a "rivalry game" then they crap their collective pants not just for the bigger crowd, but for the Southeast (CSS). I have this major fear with this team that we could be down 20+ at halftime. I bought my ticket online so I'll be there. Haven't been able to go to many this year. Man, I miss the free student tickets. What are your predictions on the crowd and of course the game itself?

I dont think they will crush us but im not saying were going to pull out the win either. I think with the large crowd that is expected the team will come out with a lot of energy in the first half and keep it competitive. I expect a big game for spencer, he seems to feed off high energy atmospheres but were never going to beat a team like mercer with our lack of depth. All that said... GO Owls Beat Mercer!!!

Mercer can't show any Mercy! The last win was by about 30, needs to be similar this time. I would expect a nice crowd, including a solid turnout from the Mercer camp.

The game will prob be competitive because of the atmosphere. My prediction is Mercer pulls away at the end. But i'll be rooting hard for our Owls at the game. BEAT MERCER!

Let see if KSU has any heart....

That's what I have read. Not sure what the source is but I imagine it will be confirmed one way or another.

That's what they announced at the game. However, from my personal vantage point it seemed slightly more sparse than the Tech game last year. Regardless, 4,991 announced is the largest crowd in KSU history.

What a great game. KSU/Mercer is always fun, and it was crazy! Gotta hand it to Kennesaw for competing and really fighting. The crowd was fantastic, and I loved the beginning of the game. At tip off you could hear "Let's go Mercer" pretty clearly

Your coach had a solid gameplan, and can definitely be proud of that effort after losing by 30 before.

Gives you an idea of the crowd. The student sections were filled as well.
