This one could get ugly. Kent St one of the best programs in the Mac. If we have 20 turnovers we will lose by 30. Have not seen them play this year but in the past they have always had great guards. They will make it hard on are young team.
kent wins by 15
My guess is that Kent wins by 20 to 25. Kent is way too much to overcome on the road.
I look forward to the game against Buffalo on Saturday. We are bringing a couple friends. These 4 Saturday games in a row have been terrific. I was worried that we could not give up all 4 Saturdays, but we did it with no problem. Very, very enjoyable to go to these games. Win or lose, we are playing an exciting brand of basketball now.
Kent State can score (over 70 per) because they pass well and shoot well....they've been worse on the road (3 game road losing streak, all to MAC teams, but to the better MAC teams), so it's too bad we're not taking them on at home.
Kent State can be scored on, but it may not matter. I'm not sure how we'll be able to guard Justin Greene. Greene's just an okay free throw shooter (71%), so maybe we'll hack him. The D will have to do an incredible job to deny the interior feed because once they get it on the block, it's probably a wrap.
NIU's offense has been getting better, but it is by no means consistent. And by NIU's offense getting better, I really mean that Nader is getting better. We're also getting more consistent from the arc, which will hopefully open more cutting/passing lanes as we go along. Without Toler, Nader's going to once again gonna have to carry the offense, which I'm sure puts $$$$$$'s in Nader's eyes.
Even if we play almost as good as we did against Ball State, it's going to be tough to win this one.
Kent State 77, NIU 63.

Point spread is 21.5 bad guys. If Nader starts banking 3s again NIU may cover. KS will score 70. Ugly second half.
See you all on Sat. Early start at noon.

I heard it was a two game suspension, so I presume so.

At this rate it might be 25 by the 10 minute work
Kent State 8
NIU 0
Kent State 10
NIU 0
Berg looks lost out there.
Ive never been able to play a lick of basketball in my life, but why do we commit so many traveling violations. Is starting to move before dribbling that hard of a concept to understand?

Most teams do not have a problem but NIU does. But keep in mind, we have a great coach.

That is our only saving grace this year, the future is bright because in my opinion we have the best coach in the conference.
Are those NIU's regular road unis?

49-24 bad guys. The sad point is NIU record is playing good first halfs. Second half could get real ugly.
