updated the Murphy Rivals link - KB
I don't have the ability to pin the thread...I will try to figure it out. Would be a good idea.
Awesome work here. It looks like we have some solid guys headed our way.
Jordan looks like he can play. I saw some highlights of Austin Rivers where Jordan was guarding him, and Rivers was guarding Jordan, and Jordan was hanging in there. Looks like an above defender, solid shot, above average athlete, and made some good basketball players. Seems like this is a GREAT sign.
I mentioned that in another thread. It looks like we have some basketball players coming in instead of athletic projects.
Hunt you just traded the best avatar on these boards.
Hunt: good pull by you, nice job. Preston is recruiting good players and his staff is showing a great ability to work hard and get kids to campus. Despite past troubles, things are looking up.

I'm impressed with their efforts so far and by their dedication to playing fast with quality players. I agree with KB, recruiting total players instead of projects.

I will remain cautiously optimistic!
Thanks Mike....love the updates.
"So, you're saying there's a chance...okay, I hear you" Patience and all will be okay....the offense is a good fit, the demand for accountability and defense is there, now we just need to "win baby!"
These kids have the opportunity to do something special and turn this program around. This program is going to win and it is just matter of whether or not they want to be part of it. I feel like going to established basketball programs could be boring... More of the same.
Always good to see the kids sign on the dotted line. Good first class...lets hope they come in hungry, ready to learn (both on and off the court), and ready to win.
Would really love to snag Wortham and Ringer. We have some quality guards coming in from what I see, but we need some big man depth. minutes will be ripe for the taking in that class. Could have a chance to put together a pretty special team in the not so distant future. Hope that our recruits can see that. I have always said that Kennesaw is sitting on a basketball gold mine. It is a matter of when not if. You could not position yourself better than our campus for basketball. We are in Atlanta, but our campus is in suburbia. Chastain and Barrett Creek are starting to really develop into mega centers for business, culture, and shopping.

Would love to get a few verbals before the season gets too deep so that our coaches can start working on the next class.
I have watched the 2013 murphy kid since he was 9 yrs old and he is probably the hardest 2,3,4, combo player in the state to guard. He is great with both hands and can jump out of the gym. Coaches better jump on him quick. He and ringer would be great for the owls or any other team.[quote='Mike_Hunt' pid='7002679' dateline='1319169141']

Ksu looking at two more guards?? No way! Smh. They just never learn... You will never be taken seriously if you can sign a player over 6'4 lol
Thats still not a center lol. Are they legit 6'7 or are they markeith 6'7 and really just 6'5?
No Markieth is not. I've walked past him numerous times. 6'5 tops. Easy. Maybe 6'6 with shoes.
And with his hops it makes up for his lack of height.

Agreed. Not sure what his standing vertical is though. Also, i'm done going to games. They are beyond pathetic this year

I'm only going to the Mercer game. We have no depth, due to loss of scholarships from the ncaa, to guys just getting kicked off the team. I think next year will be the first time since we've joined d-1 that we'll have a full team. Green really screwed over the team this year.
Looks Like Preston visted Greg Murphy at practice. Murphy's first choice is Kennesaw from what i can tell. Also being recruited by Tenn Tech, and George Mason heavily as a junior. He's still growing as well. He's close to 6'7. Great post player, and has dominated high level recruits including a guy KSU has a long shot of getting in Desmond Ringer. He'll be playing in some Junior all star game for the top 20 juniors in the state in a couple weeks according to his dad.

He's starting to fill out more and get bigger. Great Great Great post player. something we clearly lacked all year.
Pruitt looks like the real deal. I think him and Yonel our our two best recruits this upcoming year. I think Pruitt's young age helped us get him.
