Brian Kelly and Cincy is down 17-31 at the half.
With three seconds left in the half, he puts out his field goal team to attempt a 55 yarder that ends up being no where close.
Brian Kelly is proceeded to be interviewed at the half by Erin Andrew's.
EA - "You just had a long conversation with your kicker what was that about?"
BK - "Well, I was just telling him that if he couldn't make it don't attempt it, he's just trying to get on the field. A young kid, he'll learn"
Brian Kelly throws yet another player under the bus(which is probably on its way to Notre Dame as we speak)....YOU ARE THE COACH BK, its your decision!

I told a co-worker, that I hoped he'd get Darnelled this weekend. Not counting my chickens just yet, but this could be a good start to the bc$ having to make some interesting decisions come bowl time.
If Cincy comes back to win, they can thank that kick return TD right before halftime. Pitt was ready to run away with it, but allowing that return gave UC life.
His kicker's feelings were so hurt that he shanked an extra point.
This has been a great game.

That is the kicker's fault. Coach BK doesn't influence his players, It isn't BK's fault, just ask him, he'll tell you.

Regardless of bitterness to CMU or even Kelly since he's been gone - the guy knows how to win college football games and championships!
When Pitt scored and biffed the hold on the XP, I looked at the clock and had the same feeling (although w/out the emotion) as I did in 2007 when we scored on CMU with over a minute left to take the lead. (Voice in my head) "You left them too much time." Yup.
Despite what I think of the guy personally, he knows how to coach a team, how to motivate a team and how to push them to win.

A lot of people don't like him as a person - the only ones that seem to like them are GVSU, CMU, Cincy, and Notre Dame fans.
Kelly was, is and always will be a dick.
Kelly knows how to coach offense, thats it.

The guy is a lying, two-faced, egotistical *******. He will throw any player, coach, official under the bus to save face. He will tell the media what they want to hear to sound good, but stab you in the back and leave for greener pastures.
But damn can he coach a football team.

I don't think Cubit would blame the DECISION to go for a FG on the kicker.
I know more than one ND fan who is drooling at the mouth to bring Kelly in to replace Weis. I feel sorry for them, frankly.
