It will be interesting to see how this plays out...i'm sure there will be many surprises lurking this year in the Valley.... 03-shhhh
I think the Sycamores have a legit chance at winning the MVC, if they get good play from their big men.

I think any team can win the Valley if people step up their game.

Indiana State has really stepped up their talent level. Give credit where it is due. Will it come together this year? Chances are it won't, but if their frontcourt can replace Tunnell and Guards live up to their expectations, they will be tough out.

They were playing well at end of season. Many of said everyone in the league needs to step up recruiting and EVERYONE seems to be doing just that...well, Jury still out on Evansville, but I know he's trying...
I wish I could agree with Downtown but I don't think the Valley has taken a step up in recruiting. Everybody loves their recruits, as they should. But I don't believe we have advanced the caliber of high school players coming into the league. I will admit that we have brought in some nice transfers. But a case could be made that a few other non-BCS leagues are dong a better job of recruiting than the MVC. 03-banghead
We have a quite a few (hopefully) quality transfers, and while the top recruits in the class' level may not have gone up much, the overall number of those 2 and 3 star recruits has gone up.

Drake literally down to a coin flip for a big guy over UCONN? The recruits InSU and UNI have gotten or just missed out on? You see much of what i do, and that is MVC schools getting mentioned more and more for those 4* recruits. Just a matter of time, with the development of those recruits this year, that hopefully the whole league takes another step over next 2 years.
