How do you feel these rosters will match up? Who will start for ETSU? KSU? In a heads up match up who has the advantage at each position? Make it interesting! The season will be here before we know it.

My Projected Two Deep:

* Indicates that I have no clue! We have some new guards.

KSU

1 Kelvin McConnell, Spencer Dixon
2 Kurtis Woods, *
3 Markeith Cummings/Jon-Michael Nickerson
4 Jay Mitchell, Gibson/Whipple
5 Matt Heramb, LaDaris Green
My prediction:

ETSUFans: ETSU is better than Kennesaw at every position, you are a Division II school, and we are going to kill you.

KennesawFans: The game is closer than in years past, we are finally free of the grace period shackles, and our new players are going to dominate...

Hows that for a prediction :)

Oh and KR....no way does Nickerson not start. Our lineup could go a variety of ways though depending on where Nickerson, Woods, and Markeith fit in. Nickerson could play 3/4, Markeith could play 2/3, and Woods could play 1/2. Just depends on how it all works out in the preseason practices.
I understand the line up could go multiple ways. The only reason I put cummings/ j mac is due to the fact that j-mac is having issues with some bones in his foot. Notice I used a / rather than a , because it depends on whether or not J mac is ready to rock.
Sorry to hear that about JMac..hope he can come into the season healthy.
It's kind of like the little kid down the street who keeps throwing stuff at you trying to get a rise out of you, then just like Ben Rhoda did to Ronnell Wooten, we have to smack you down. :-) How was the cellar again?
Oh, and you guys don't have an answer on your roster to Justin Tubbs and Mike Smith, and God help you with Jocolby Davis being back and Adam Sollazzo having a year under his belt and playing for a higher reason. We'll take some lumps with our early schedule, ETSU will win between 18-22 games again, depending on how deep we go in the conference tournament.
We're deeper, stronger, and more talented than we were last year. We were horrible last year... thus ETSU is deeper, stronger, and more talented than we are. Nothing really complicated. I do believe we are greatly improved.. but I'm shooting to get out of the cellar into the midst of the conference (5-7 range by seasons end).
You'll be better than UpState and UNF.
This "rivalry" is beginning to bore me. Until KSU beats us or tries to take out Mike Smith's kneecap, I could really care less about them.
Yeah, I understand ETSUfan. Just trying to talk about something!
Well I guess I could insult fat Tony Ingle and his 17 kids that he got free educations for. I didn't realize that Kennesaw State was the UNICEF for the Ingle family's higher education needs.
Fat Tony may be in the soup line if he doesn't put it together this year.

They better have a lot of soup.
Ingle will have at least 2 or 3 years to try and work things out. Oh yeah, I have come up with a new mascot for this years ETSU squad! The Midgets! A great name, seeing how the roster averages out to be a few inches taller than a group of umpa lumpas! Here's to KSU's Forwards beating up on Hubbard down low 04-cheers
Ben Rhoda hid behind his teammates, while Wooten waited out on the court for him. Next time Wooten saw ETSU he put them on Sportscenter with a top 10 play of the day. Yeah, Rhoda really showed him.

Goldfinger

Once again you distort truth
No, I was at the game when Rhoda got ejected for laying out Wooten, and for Ronnell's sake it's a good thing that Sneed didn't get him on the previous trip down the floor or Ronnell would've looked like Tebow did after that end from Kentucky blew him up.
And Fat Tony can't live on soup alone, it would bankrupt Campbell's.
I was there too, and remember things quite clearly. I also remember your fans throwing trash and ice at Ronell as he was thrown out of the game. Buclover, I will give you the Sneed comment...if he would have been involved it would have been all over for anyone on our team, but in my opinion Sneed was a gentle giant. Beast on the court, but a genuinely good guy. I think it is clear that we won't agree on the Rhoda/Wooten issue, but don't think you can pull the 'I was there card'...I am holding that in my hand as well.
They will never agree with the Rhoda/Wooten issue but they sure do accept the fact that the Atlanta Dream dwarf's their current roster lol

Goldfinger

I was on the floor ten feet away from the "fight"....and you sir are in bad need of glasses.
I am not going to talk much trash about ETSU because they have our number (along with everyone else in the ASun last year). I think we will be much improved this year, and I think this will be the first year we can compete for the duration of the season, but I am not going to mouth off before I have seen our team play a game. This Wooten/Rhoda talk is nonsense, and anyone with a brain can see that. Kennesaw fans feel Wooten was in the right, ETSU fans feel Rhoda was...that isn't going to change, which is why I never bring it up. Certain ETSU fans feel the need to spout off about it however, which as someone who is there, I simply can't allow to pass.

Should be an interesting matchup this year. I hope that our new guys have as much as an impact as I think they can.
As was I Gold, and I can't wait til the ETSU/KSU game in Kennesaw this year. A friend of mine and I are planning on coming, so that should give ETSU a "homecourt" advantage on the road!
Atleast KB sees the reality of the situation. We've been taking that ass to spankytown and this season barring our main 7-8 guys all being injured will be the same.
