Ill be checking Youtube once I get home, (blocked at work) so Im curious.

Ahhh but I do recall some great moments, The 03-nutkick to Troy who thought they could just "show" up in 07 and have fun in New Orleans. Whoops, you had to play football to go and we all know that didnt happen.

Course at least the TEAM showed up to try to play, I dont even think the stadium had Troy fans in it. Must of been a Bama vs Barn Water Polo match that night that was more important to the Troy faithful.

Pretty big talk for a program that besides being the quickest program to win a bowl against a crappy Memphis team hasn't done anything else.

You did do worse in 08. You know that right? What was it...30-17? Oh yeah, that's right. I will give you props in beating CMU. Although I think they (as is every team from the MAC) were overrated it was a good win. And besides I picked you guys to win on Bowl Pick'Em.

You must of been there in 07? If you were I wouldn't be too proud about how fau was represented either.

Thanks SMU for Troy baiting picture.

You Troy fans keep downing FAU, but it just comes across as you scared there is another team here threatening your domination of the Belt, and we did it way quicker than troy did.

Oh, and at least we won our Bowl Game!!!
NCowl, prove it on the field. last I checked, we hold the Crown.

True,

But not the treasure!

WE hold that.

Lockhart is paradise compared to some other "wonderful" areas of SFLA 04-chairshot

You guys were given a lot of things as well. If Troy had started football when you did, our rise would have been similarly quick. We didn't come in at an age where, like South Alabama, you just start a football program that will "start in 2009 and join the sunbelt in 2013." That's all predetermined, where's the challenge? Troy did it the hard way and is a better program for it. You guys were given a pedestal to basically walk right into Division I Football. Troy fought from the ground up, all the way from Division II Football. We've learned how to avoid mistakes through almost 100 years of mistakes. Your program, while not too shaby in it's own right, does not have the experience Troy has. While Troy was working their asses off in the 90's, having done it for decades, FAU was still soup in the womb of the NCAA. So what, you did it "way quicker" than Troy did. I'm more proud of WHAT Troy has does than HOW FAU has done what they did.

And yes, there is always a level of fear, especially from FAU, FIU, and MTSU. They all have great opportunities to create the next dynasty in the sunbelt. I believe, right now, Troy has the upper hand and will continue to have that hand for as long as Larry Blakeney is our Head Coach. As long as he is our head coach, we may not have a dynasty in the sunbelt, but we'll always be in the title hunt year after year, and that, in itself, will prevent any others from having a dynasty.

Even though this is the smack talk board, I mean no disrespect to our owl fans on board here, just giving my opinion.

Troy started out in the NAIA. As a matter of fact, Troy is the only team in college football to have ever gone from NAIA to Division 1A football.

We know most of it is in good fun, bottom line is there are some good teams in the SB, and a lot can happen in a season. And Yes, Troy has a good thing going, a great program year in and year out, but FAU is in your rearview mirror, and we are after YOU! 03-nerner

Wow, didn't know that, thanks Cardinal. When I read articles about Troy it usually only mentions our move from DII. I guess they were referring to Blakeney's stay at Troy.

No prob! One of Troy's 3 national championships is from their stint in the NAIA too. I believe they won it in 1968?
Don't let one or two loser Troy "fans" give us all a bad name. Real fans appreciate what other 'Belt team bring to the table.

You guys should be concerned with who's in YOUR rearview... well they won't be there by the time you look back! 04-rock

Just wondering if that was ok with you...you seem to have so many issues.
