I like to bring this one out around New Years Eve (the biggest hockey night of the year). Always warms my heart to get one last good laugh in.

As long as we are watching fights today, here's an oldie but a goodie.

Former Bronco defenseman Luke Witkowski had a good fight with Tanner Glass of the NY Rangers recently. The Red Wings maybe should have drafted Witkowski instead of Danny DeKeyser, who has had a bad season.

Why do the linesman just stand aside, I thought it was there job to PREVENT fights whenever possible?

I understand if both players want to trade just one punch for effects, but why tolerate a brandyhoo?
