Are you worried about MWC expansion? Are we in a dieing conference again? Can we just expand with Sun Belt or Big Sky schools or Idaho? Have we made the right choice?

Not nearly as concerned about it now as I was last Friday.

But it would sure be nice to be in a conference that does the inviting instead of the farewell parties.

I'm happy as long as we're in a conference with Fresno, Boise, Hawaii, and Nevada. Having SJSU in the mix is nice also as long as they survive (and I really hope they do). The only thing I would hate is if we were assigned to an "eastern" division of a 12 team WAC. Then we'd be back in the Sun Belt for all intents and purposes.

I I were you guys, I wouldn't vote for anything bigger than 11 and you won't have to worry about being stuck in an eastern division. A ten member conference is big enough. Works for football and basketball. The WAC couldn't make a dime on a championship game and could provide a loss and knock a team out of the top 25 at the end of the year. Unless someone offers a million dollars and expenses, it isn't worth the trouble.

That looks like a pretty good league to me.

The WAC would look better without Louisiana Tech.
