My thoughts on each choice:

Ban Him Forever - While this would clear up the board to focus on WAC Sports, Anthony does seem to have access to many different computers.

Only allow him to view posts - This is my personal favorite as he has shown he cannot take criticism. Any references to him that he could not respond to might be the sweetest revenge for all the bad PR he creates towards SJSU.

Allow him to continue to post - My least favorite. His intrusion into threads would continue to disrupt the particular topic being discussed.

Please remember there has never been a promise that Anthony has not broken about posting. He is habitual in always returning to the insulting style he is known for.

I am a mod of the NMSU aggie board and except for people that just continually come on the board and just create havoc by posting drivel and offensive language my stance is to try to avoid banning anyone, in fact I've only asked for one troll to be banned in three years because the he changed his name to make me look like a jerk. I say let Anthony drown in his own idiocy. However that doesn't mean the administrator can't delete his pimping posts to his board here. If he wont' let us post links to this board on his site why should he be allowed to post his pimping posts here. Just my two cents. I think the administrators of this board do a fine job. Thanks.

Please ban him. He's a terrible representative of San Jose State and the WAC.

It takes a high tolerance to deal with Anthony/S p a r t a n T h u n d e r/etc..

I banned him from The Bark Board for a good amount of time but allowed him back on because I'm not one for banning people.

Anthony is a diehard San Jose State fan and he should have a voice on here along with anyone else as long as he follows the rules.

I say let him keep posting. He has no power here and there are a few people that probably want to get back at him. He really hasn't done anything egregious.

No you're not, but from what I read, he is the type to ban with no remorse because if it isn't his way, then it's the highway. From conversations with him through the board, it doesn't seem he will change in any way. If he does, then I'd like to be the first to know because I'll take him out for some beer.

FYI, from a very reliable source, I heard he posted on Owlzone as a Miner fan bashing Fresno State. But I guess that's valid of him to do so considering that Fresno State has had SJSU's number for the past...what.....10+ years? :laugh: :bang:

It doesn't matter what option is taken, I think he already put himself is a huge hole within the WAC community that he can't climb out of. Therefore, if he is allowed to post here, he won't be taken seriously and continue to be insulted. So it's a matter of preference. Continue to bash him to pleasure yourself, or ban him so you won't have to deal with him anymore.

Actually. You should do nothing. Anthony is irritating and lacking in social skills, but you have to admit that he is dedicated, obsessed, or whatever.

I'm not in favor of banning him.

Banning people SHOULD be used only as a LAST resort for individuals and it should be reserved for people who post vulgar, or obscene messages, or people who are similarly offensive to others.

Admittedly I do not like Anthony and his ego-centric messages, but he is not being vulgar and he is not being obscene. Misguided, self-centered, ego maniacal.....yes he's all of those, but dislike him as much as I do, even I have to admit he's not being vulgar or obscene here. However, if he continues to try to post links to his websites, perhaps a SUSPENSION of say 30 or 60 days might be more appropriate. :wave:

Frankly I think Anthony is more laughable than anything else (or sad). :monty:

I tend to agree with Scott.....if you ban him then you are no better than he is.
