what kinda name is "zips", huh? someone once told me it stood for 'zipper', which almost BEGS trash talk, but "zip" is slang for nada, like I got zip, I got nada, I got butkis. Honestly, why would a collegiate team choose "zip"?
then there's "roo"...again, short for KANGAroo, I assume, since they always have a picture of the top of a bald rodent with a thyroid problem's head (apparently couldn't afford to the advertising to show the whole head, you know, saving those nickles and dimes for that awesome stadium they are building...). but since we're the "KENT READ...etc", I'll take it the next logical step to "KENT spell", as in: I got ZIP in my pocket because my degree's from Akron and I ROO the day I picked this school over Kent.
j.f. and b.: don't sic e.j. on me, just joking. your turn.
