Quote:Thaddeus Young will join former Georgia Tech teammate Javaris Crittenton in the NBA in less than two weeks, as he notified Tech coach Paul Hewitt Monday morning that like Crittenton he will remain in the NBA draft.

Young and Crittenton entered Tech last year as a McDonalds high school All-Americans, and each averaged 14.4 points to lead the Yellow Jackets in scoring. Young shots 47.8 percent from the field, 41.9 percent on 3-pointers, averaged 4.9 rebounds and added 63 assists and 40 steals in 31 games.

Tough break. How's Tech looking for next year? Is Lawal still coming? Who's gonna run the point now that Critt's gone?
We do still have Lawal. I look for either incoming frosh Maurice Miller or Georgetown transfer Matt Causey to run the point, with our best athletes stockpiled at the 2-guard position in Lewis Clinch, Anthony Morrow and D'Andre Bell.
Expected. The stars just don't stay at Tech long.
Thad: #12 to the Sixers
Crittenton: #19 to the Lakers
