What do you listen to?
If you are in Central North Carolina there is only one station to listen to... <a href="http://www.wbzb.com" target="_blank">WBZB 1090AM</a>...The best in local music and the best DJs around <img border="0" alt="[Cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/cheers.gif" /> That Marshall Law DJ Kicks ASS! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />
Actually it's been about 50/50 between a Christian station and a sports / news talk station lately.
New Rock - 93.3 The Planet

Alternative, Hard Rock, Industrial, Punk
Either:

95.1 The Rocket - Huntsville

or

102.9 The Buzz - Nashville

Both rock stations, but The Rocket mixes in a little more of the older stuff (Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Def Leppard, etc.).
Uh oh... so far I'm the only one who likes Classic Rock... hmmmm <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
Nah. I like:

- Hard Rock
- Alternative
- Industrial
- Electronica
- Ambiance
- Oldies
- 80's
- pop from the mid 90's
- Heavy Metal
- Classic Rock
- Punk
- Classical
- Dance

Basically - country, rap, most pop, and disco are out of the question.

Ms. Nole, I too listen to Classic Rock or Country when I am not listening to Talk. Listen to the Blues on the Computer most of the day.
I chose classic rock, but I actually listen to all of the following:

classic rock
80's rock
some of the new rock
country
late 80's rap

My favorite artists are:

1 Led Zeppelin
2 Def Leppard
3 Foreigner
4 Shania Twain
5 Garth Brooks
I'll pretty much listen to anything. I'll make an exception for country music, though -- I deplore the modern hit stuff ... but I can live with alt-country, Americana, and stuff recorded prior to, oh, 1965 or so. I can pretty much live without Britney/BB/N'sync and their ilk too. Other than that, anything goes.

But the state of radio in the Oklahoma City area absolutely sucks. As a result, I'm a dial-twiddler who stops for periods on alt-rock, sports talk, and National Public Radio. Talk about your intellectual extremes.

Radio music sucks, that's why I have to rely on mp3s and custom made CDs.

I do listen to sportstalk 980 and WTOP 1500 in baltimore.
I listen to 99.5-Washington DC....It falls under the category "that new crap my sons listen to"
Mine also falls under that choice, "the new crap my sons listen to." I'm the type of girl that you know I'm coming when the bass shakes your house. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />

My vote goes to Classic Rock.

The current results:

I have fun at a stop light or just driving down the road and some "crap listner" with enough bass to shake my car comes by. I just start to honk my horn to the bass. They get pissed and some even say something. My pat reply is "my noise is louder than your noise, does mine piss you off?"
