The new Ibis logo (B) just doesn't do it for me. Personally, I've always liked the ol' pipe smoking, stork-looking logo. :thumb:

What I remember about it...It was to distinguish
betwen them and the Dolphins. The U standing
for "University"

Yeah, sometimes I forget who the pro team in Miami is & who the college team is after watching the Hurricanes play.

Yeah, sometimes I forget who the pro team in Miami is & who the college team is after watching the Hurricanes play.

When they added the logo...

The 'Canes had a real idenity problem.

Can you believe in the mid-70's they were on the
verge of dropping football.

"Man...Look at 'em Now!"

But back in the early and mid-70's the 'Canes were
struggling and the "Fins" were going to three straight
Super Bowls...
