ouch
I can see at least five of those MAC players getting drafted -- Garrett Wolfe, Doug Free, Joe Staley, Dan Bazuin, and Ryne Robinson. Don't know about the other three.
What? No Phil Horvath? ;-)

A little disappointed (although not surprised) that Nordin is not there.
I have to pull for Drew Mormino from Central Michigan who is an Adlai E. Stevenson High School alum, just like former Huskie Brad Cieslak and my son (a current Huskie for those of you who didn't know). That would make Mormino the third former player from Stevenson HS that will have ended up in the NFL.

Another former Patriot, Matt O'Dwyer, was an 11 year NFL veteran, and was considered at one time to be the strongest O-lineman in the league. He retired from the NFL on September 1, 2006 - his 34th birthday.
The MAC was definitely very young this year

Free has had his share of individual success in college, earning post season honors after each season he has played. As a freshman in 2003, he earned Freshman AA honors after being a key cog in Michael Turner

Quote:The 2007 NFL Combine Timing and Testing Sessions will be held from February 21st through 27th at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN. The scouting combine is an invitation only event, open only to invited players and NFL team officials. The tests/evaluations include: 40 yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 20-yard shuttle, three-cone drill, 60-yard shuttle, position-specific drills, interviews, physical measurements, injury evaluation, drug screen, cybex test, and wonderlic test.

Perhaps the most newsworthy test, the Wonderlic Test is an intelligence test has been given to prospective players in the National Football League since the 1970s. The Wonderlic is a 12 minute, 50 question exam meant to judge their aptitude for adapting to certain situations. Similar to other standardized tests, the Wonderlic uses a multiple choice format for its questions with increasing difficulty. It's designed so that most players won't have time to complete it. Pat McInally (P/WR from Harvard) is the only football player to record a confirmed perfect score.

I think Scout doesn't think he will play RB, but instead Punt/Kick Returner. That's why he's not on that list.
